NaVi is back home

It’s sad for NaVi fans. Especially for the bros who will go all the way to Singapore and support NaVi in the Arena. Of course. The NaVi team lost both games in two games and had to be the first team to say goodbye since the Blast World Final. I have written as far as I know what the NaVi team is doing wrong. Encourage them. One thing is that with these 2 losses, NaVi’s situation will not be too bad. However, we cannot deny that this has become a bell ringing that rival teams have learned how NaVi plays.

NaVi is back home

Map Pool is too full

There were people who pointed out this problem over and over again, but NaVi couldn’t get out of their comfort zone. On the other side of the map selection, everyone who watched the game knows that NaVi team has been good all along, but has always been at the bottom in terms of map pool standings. Also, having Mirage as the main map makes NaVi technically weaker. As I said, Mirage is a common map and there are no very bad teams on this map, so NaVi struggles. Dust 2 is arguably better, but if Dust 2 meets NaVi, no team can beat it.

Wonderful gameplay

This is not a big problem, but if there is a big flood, it could be the solution to the problem. While hyper-aggressive AWPers like moNESY and Broky were in front, Maung Sueong did not rise from the situation of changing positions except for standing and waiting like in the past. It’s true that he’s good and tough, but as Simple said, if he can add brains to his dexterity, he’ll become a Mega Star.

No Super Star No Party

Not having a Super Star will be a big problem for NaVi in the long run. The current NaVi team is very good, but they still need a Super Hero to save the team. It doesn’t mean that 3 Vs 1 or 4 Vs 1 always show clutch, but players who can show this kind of performance are absolutely necessary in a CS team. For example, moNESY and ZywOo are Super Star Players with these Hero Stats. NaVi had no Star Players at all.

Suffering from fatigue

This is clear. It’s simple, but I see it as NaVi’s main problem. Although we managed to reach the Grand Finals of 6 S Tier Events in a row, today’s Blast World Final was the main reason why we were left last. NaVi players are noticeably tired and this will be a problem that NaVi will have to deal with later on. There will be more CS events next season, so this will become an important issue not only for NaVi, but for the entire CS world.
