Everyone’s focus is on the Betboom event. However, at the same time, there is a LAN event in the same city (Belgrade), and the AVULUS team has been crowned as the champion of the LAN event.
RES or a bridge between Tier 2 and Tier 1
The RES events were divided into 4 regions. It was held from February to September, and Lower Tier teams competed in three regions. RES Series EU by combining EEU and WEU. Combined NA and SA, RES Series LATAM and SEA were exclusively RES Series SEA. Each Regional Series was awarded up to USD 50,000 and awarded points called RES Points. Through this, they decided which team would play in Belgrade. To put it simply, it is the same format as the currently popular ESL Pro Tour. Despite the low skill level, this RES event was really beneficial for Tier 2 Tier 3 teams.
